Verse 1:
Oh God, You spoke in ages past,
Through prophets, penned Your Word
‘Till in the perfect time, at last
You’ve spoken in Your Son
Appointed as the Heir of all
Through Whom all things were made
The radiance of Your glory, God
Our all-sustaining Head
Chorus:
Jesus: our sinless Sacrifice
Jesus, oh help our lives to sing
For through Your death You gave us life
We praise You: Prophet, Priest, and King
Verse 2:
We see this tainted, cursed world
It’s not as it should be
We do not see what yet will come,
But this, oh this we see:
Jesus, who tasted death for all
Is now with glory crowned
Oh let us taste of glorious grace
That glory may abound

And Can It Be?
04:33
|
|||
Verse 1:
And can it be that I should gain
An int’rest in the Savior’s blood?
Died He for me, who caused His pain?
For me, who Him to death pursued?
Amazing love! how can it be
That Thou, my God shouldst die for me?
Chorus:
Amazing love! how can it be
That Thou, my God shouldst die for me?
Verse 2:
He left His Father’s throne above,
So free, so infinite His grace!
Emptied Himself of all but love,
And bled for Adam’s helpless race!
‘Tis mercy all, immense and free,
For, O my God, it found out me
Verse 3:
Long my imprisoned spirit lay
Fast bound in sin and nature’s night
Thine eye diffused a quick’ning ray
I woke, the dungeon flamed with light!
My chains fell off, my heart was free,
I rose, went forth, and followed Thee
Verse4:
No condemnation now I dread
Jesus, and all in Him is mine!
Alive in Him, my living head
And clothed in righteousness divine
Bold I approach the eternal throne
And claim the crown, through Christ my own

Verse 1:
He lives, the great Redeemer lives
(What joy the blest assurance gives!)
And now before His Father God,
Pleads the full merit of His blood.
Verse 2:
Repeated crimes awake our fears,
And justice armed with frowns appears;
But in the Saviour’s lovely face
Sweet mercy smiles, and all is peace.
Chorus:
Great Advocate, Almighty Friend,
On Him our humble hopes depend:
Our cause can never, never fail,
For Jesus pleads, and must prevail.
Verse 3:
Hence, then, ye black despairing thoughts;
Above our fears, above our faults,
His powerful intercessions rise;
And guilt recedes, terror dies.
Verse 4:
In every dark distressful hour,
When sin and Satan join their power,
Let this dear hope repel the dart,
That Jesus bears us on His heart.

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it, Mount of Thy redeeming love.
Sorrowing I shall be in spirit, till released from flesh and sin,
Yet from what I do inherit, here Thy praises I’ll begin;
Here I raise my Ebenezer; here by Thy great help I’ve come;
And I hope, by Thy good pleasure, safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger, wandering from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger, interposed His precious blood;
How His kindness yet pursues me, mortal tongue can never tell,
Clothed in flesh, till death shall loose me, I cannot proclaim it well.
O to grace how great a debtor, daily I’m constrained to be!
Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wandering heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, Lord take and seal it, seal it for Thy courts above.
O that day when freed from sinning, I shall see Thy lovely face;
Clothéd then in blood washed linen, how I’ll sing Thy sovereign grace;
Come, my Lord, no longer tarry, take my ransomed soul away;
Send thine angels now to carry, me to realms of endless day.

Verse 1:
The One who calmed the raging sea
Endured the shipwreck of my sin
That by still waters I could drink
And with safe passage enter in
Verse 2:
When waves of grief crash over me
And pain and doubt assault my soul
The blood of Christ remains my plea
He fills with joy through His Gospel
Chorus:
My weary, burdened, aching soul
No other love can satisfy
But the relief that makes me whole
Is found alone in Jesus Christ
Verse 3:
From Jesus’ side flowed water, blood
That living water I could drink
And evermore be with my God
And never thirst, and never sink
