Saved Us 04:10
Verse 1: We submit as pilgrims passing Through this devastated land Longing for a home that's promised By the One with pierced hands Showing love to one another Even those who may oppress For we all were foolish villains But by grace we are in Christ Pre-Chorus: For when Your kindness and Your love appeared, oh God Chorus: You saved us! Not based on our deeds Your mercy For our pardon pleads The Spirit Has washed and renewed All who trust in Christ for eternal life For You saved us! You saved us! Verse 2: The rebellious and religious Still seek to assail Your Church May Your perfect Truth reprove them May the Gospel make them pure By Your grace You’ve made us righteous Bound with Christ we’ve been made heirs Blessed with hope of life eternal And now nothing can compare Verse 3: May Your love forever drive us To dispense Your Holy Word So that all who trust in Jesus May live boldly for You, Lord Help us flee from pride and factions May our words be full of grace Guard our hearts from all distractions Through us, show the world Your face

Verse 1: Faithful Lord, never failing Always true to Your Word. Perfect God, never changing Set apart, yet humble Majesty, angels singing All of this You exchanged Put on flesh, took our torture Murdered, You rose again Chorus: For the joy set before You For the souls that You would save For the sake of Your glory Endured the cross, conquered the grave Verse 2: Nothing have we to offer Our good works: filthy rags We rest not on our merit On Your grace we rely Now reborn, new creation All our sins washed away Now we live life on mission Till You come again someday Bridge: So we fix our eyes on You And we lay aside ourselves That we may not grow weary That we may not lose heart

Verse 1: Arise, my soul, arise; shake off thy guilty fears The bleeding sacrifice in my behalf appears Before the throne my Surety stands Before the throne my Surety stands My name is written on His hands Verse 2: He ever lives above, for me to intercede His all redeeming love, His precious blood, to plead His blood atoned for all our race* His blood atoned for all our race And sprinkles now the throne of grace Chorus: Arise, arise Arise, my soul, arise For Jesus died for thee Arise, for Christ: both God and sacrifice Presents thee perfectly Verse 3: The Father hears Him pray, His dear anointed One He cannot turn away, the presence of His Son His Spirit answers to the blood His Spirit answers to the blood And tells me I am born of God Verse 4: My God is reconciled; His pardoning voice I hear He owns me for His child; I can no longer fear With confidence I now draw nigh With confidence I now draw nigh And “Father, Abba, Father,” cry * "all our race" = "all the human race"

Verse 1: You have called us and loved us, oh God our Father And You keep us for the glory of Jesus our Savior Your mercy, peace, and love Are multiplied to us Through Christ's redemptive blood Chorus: So we struggle by Your strength For the once-delivered faith For this Gospel of Your grace Is Your mighty power to save Verse 2: Though wolves prowl among us, distorting the Gospel With mocking, defiling, reviling most hostile Built on Your foundation Secure in salvation We offer grace to everyone Bridge: To the only God our Savior Through Jesus Christ our Lord Be glory, majesty, dominion Now and evermore

about

This is our 3rd EP of songs we do at our church comprised of a mixture of vintage hymns, as well as new songs (born out of Titus, Hebrews, and Jude). The songs have been a blessing to our church and we hope they'll be a blessing to you as well in helping the message of Christ dwell within you richly.
